This track was written during experimentation with lucid dreaming. Tracks like this always make me feel like i'm in a state of semi-subconsciousness. The state right before you realize whether you're awake yet or not. Then we move through the track into the feeling of motivation, the desire to achieve. The bassline in this track is really punchy, I was very happy with the final result.

A journey into the terror and suspense, as well as the incredible ambient environment, created by director James Cameron and cinegraphic design artist H.R. Giger.. Utilizing vocal and SFX samples from their movie "Aliens", this song takes a brief trip to the planet of LV-426 to meet the natives....... Starting with a more chill intro (the awakening from hypersleep), and eventually taking you all the way to the inner bowels of the infested space colony itself, this was one of the first drum and bass tracks ever produced by deftek. Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen....

This is a remix of a track that has been floating around def tek studios for months but never had the finishing touches. With some new samples and a different beat at a faster tempo this track became much more of an atmospheric dnb trip, and we were very satisfied with the results.

This is the beginning of a nu direction for us, using vocal samples that dont really make any sense at all to create a stream of evil consciousness probing your mind with subliminal hints of hostility and perturbed disturbance.

As time passes, the environment fades away, and sleep is its replacement. Despite the change physical state, the mind is now working forty-two times faster, analyzing, organizing, and creating. This, of many paths to this dream state is ponder.

Strapped into the Luxury Seat 2000 of padded goodness, two hands firmly grasp a piece of formed hard plastic, inset with buttons of bright colours. After a brief pause for a sip of (*insert favourite tasty beverage here*), the palms reconnect with their technological host, and begin to work in cooperation with thousands of nerves to enable the user to perform actions within a specified game platform. Plug yourself in before hearing this.

A rather happy tune, this one was written for Charlie's little brother, Wesley. Various happy melodies casually drift over top of a phresh beat, and a bouncy bassline. *Head bobbing with a smile=highly encouraged ^_^*

this is a remix of a future sound of london track titled "a permanent state of abyss". i used one sample from the beginning of the track and immersed it in my own batch of 3/4 timing: a time signature often ignored by electronic producers.
