Tendo as producer.
I've been writing electronic music for about 10 years, and I learn something new every day. I recently inherited a bunch of hardware that has allowed me to take it to the next level. I'm open to collaboration in many sub-genres, and I don't limit myself to any style. I mix hardware and software as well as i can to create sonic landscapes, audio hallucinations, and aural embeleshments. I'm working on several projects simultaneously, below is a good example of the headspace that I'm in at the moment. I'm currently learning how to build my own hardware and experimental instruments.
bud + tendo - dead of life
This is a song that I made with my cousin Bud. He's singing and playing guitar on the track. It was recently featured on a Santa Cruz mixtape. This mixdown was very difficult for me, but Jeff helped me sort it all out. I'm extremely happy with the end result.
coma - ponder (tendo remix)
Charlie wrote this a few years back, I found the old sample pack and gave it some new life. The bass in this track is completely unconventional, I'm not sure if I want to make it more accessible for lo-fi or not.

Last Dance of the Android
Last Dance of the Android is a live hip hop project that I'm working on with local emcee Apostropheus and guitarist TD Womack. We've played a handful of shows around the city and we're working on our demo right now. We're trying to find more local talent to work into the mix and create a more epic live experience with effects and other content that is unusual in the hiphop scene. We have a bunch more songs but the recordings aren't quite there. We plan to release a 3-song EP next month and finish the album immediately afterwords. So far we've played more shows than we've rehearsed, I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not...but the sound comes pretty naturally.
Last Dance of the Android - Screamer
COMPLETELY UNFINISHED. First track in progress for our demo. Just wanted to get something out there. The mixdown on this is nowhere near done, but it gives you a good idea of what we're trying to accomplish. The beats aren't hip hop at all, but it works in some other way. Last dance of the android! Need more studio time with Womack so we can get some guitar effects over the mix, then give Steve a specific frequency to dominate instead of mashing through the entire mix. Gotta break this down more.

COMPLETELY UNFINISHED. Second track in progress for our demo. Steve did a great job on this track, I just need to make it sound better. This is a 2 track stereo mix, I need to break it into more pieces and give his voice a specific frequency. Balance out the bass, record Womack on guitar, we should be good to go.
